Tilden Park Steam Trains

The engine has all of the features of its full size prototype.

The returning train approaches.

Enclosed cars and a scale model cabose are at the end of the train.

The train disappears into a short turning loop and will reappear at the station shortly

The valve gear is driven from excentrics mounted on the front drive axle between the wheels. Steam is vented while waiting to prevent condensation build up in the chambers.

A steam driven air pump supplies the brakes on the engine and tender.
